Greetings to all! Today we are back with my first participation in the Splinterlands Social Media challenge. I have quite a lot of news to tell you about what happened in the last few days.

About a month ago, I joined a Guild that has an open entrance with the sole purpose of being able to buy Gladius Case in the store with Merits. I had to wait 7 days of permanence to buy the Case for the first time. Until now, I was in an alliance that fights in Guild Brawl Tier 2 and in which there was not much activity. In fact, I had never talked to anyone in the alliance.

I found out that the rewards for higher tiers in SPS were much juicier than I was getting so far. So I posted an announcement in the “Guild Recruitment” section of the Splinterlands Discord, giving a brief presentation of my stats.

Hace apróximadamente un mes, me uni a un Guild que tiene abierta la entrada con el único objetivo de poder comprar Gladius Case en la tienda con Merits. Tuve que esperar 7 dias de permanencia para comprar por primera vez la Case. Hasta ahora, estuve en una alianza que pelea en Guild Brawl de Tier 2 y en la que no habia mucha actividad. De hecho, nunca había hablado con nadie de la alianza.

Me enteré que las recompensas por tier más altos en SPS eran mucho más jugosas de las que estaba recibiendo hasta el momento. Asi que coloque un anunció en el sección "Guild Recruitment" en el Discord de Splinterlands, dando una breve presentación sobre mis estadisticas.

Luckily, a few hours after I made the announcement, I received a message inviting me to an alliance with high-level buildings. Moreover, it was an active alliance participating in Guild Brawl fights at level 4.
</div>

Por suerte, pocas horas después de hacer el anuncio, recibí un mensaje invitándome a una alianza con edificios de alto nivel. Además, era una alianza activa que participaba en combates del Guild Brawl en el nivel 4.

Today I participated in my first tier 4 alliance brawl. I selected position number 8, because it allowed me to use advanced cap summoners, which are the ones I normally use in Modern Ranked. Also, it allows me to use my Chaos set which is the strongest I have at the moment. 
<p/>
I remember in my first brawls I used to make the mistake of getting into any position without reading the rules. More than once I ended up getting into a Rebellion set exclusive brawl and automatically lost because I didn't have summoners from that set.

Hoy he participado en mi primer brawl de tier 4 de la alianza. Seleccione la posición número 8, ya que permitia usar invocadores de advanced cap, que son los que uso normalmente en Modern Ranked. Además, de que me permite usar mi set de Chaos que es el más fuerte que tengo al momento.

Recuerdo que en mis primeros brawls cometía el error de meterme en cualquier posición sin leer las reglas. Más de una vez terminé entrando en un brawl exclusivo de set Rebellion y perdí automáticamente por no tener invocadores de ese set.

These days, I was really looking forward to play more Modern Ranked games to practice, but my main account had no more energy.
<p/>
So I revived an account that was a few years old. I rented a deck quite similar to my main account, for a total of 2500 DEC. Plus, of SPS so I can slowly build up.
<p/>
With this set, I knew I was going to climb from Unranked fast to at least get to Silver easily.
</div>

En estos dias, estaba con bastantes ganas de poder jugar más partidas de Modern Ranked para practicar, pero en mi cuenta principal no tenia más energia.
<p/>
Por lo que he revivido una cuenta que tenia unos cuantos años. He alquilado un mazo bastante similar al de mi cuenta principal, por un total de 2500 DEC. Además, de SPS para poder ir acumulando poco a poco.
<p/>
Con este set, sabia que iba a escalar de Sin Clasificar rapido hasta por lo menos llegar a Plata fácilmente.

I wasn't lying at all about climbing the ranks. I went on a 17 win streak and climbed to Gold 3 in a single day. This is going to be great for me to claim a good amount of GLINT and SPS from that account. And I accomplished it all with a deck rented for a mere 2500 DEC, as well as renting a good amount of SPS.
<p/>
I think I'll keep playing it for a while longer. I've seen a lot of people have multiple accounts and it's a good way to not be left wanting to keep ranking when I run out of energy.
<p/>
Another curiosity, is that in the chest I got for upgrading to Silver, I got a legendary from the Rebellion set. In my main account, I only got one by opening more than 1500 chests. That's my luck.

Con lo de subir de rango no mentía en absoluto. Llegué a acumular una racha de 17 victorias y subí a Oro 3 en un solo día. Esto me va a venir genial para reclamar una buena cantidad de GLINT y SPS desde esa cuenta. Y todo lo logré con un mazo rentado por apenas 2500 DEC, además de alquilar una buena cantidad de SPS.

Creo que la seguiré jugando por un tiempo más. He visto que muchas personas tienen varias cuentas y es una buena forma de no quedarse con las ganas de seguir rankeando cuando me quede sin energia.
<p/>
Otra de las curiosidades, es que en el cofre que me dieron por subir a Plata, saque una legendaria del set Rebellion. En mi cuenta principal, solo he conseguido una abriendo más de 1500 cofres. Esa es mi suerte.

In the last few weeks, the price of SPS has been going up quite a bit. My initial investment was only $10 in SPS that I had initially earmarked, added to the SPS rent needed to get the x10 boost in the ranges I was competing in.

I want to show you all the amount I have been accumulating since almost two months ago, when I first invested in SPS.

En estas ultimas semanas, ha estado subiendo bastante el precio del SPS. Mi inversión inicial fue de tan solo 10 dólares en SPS que había destinado inicialmente, sumado a la renta de SPS necesaria para obtener el boost de x10 en los rangos en los que estaba compitiendo.

Quiero mostrarles toda la cantidad que llevó acumulando desde hace casi dos meses, cuándo inverti por primera vez en SPS.

A few days ago, the estimated value of my SPS was $50, but now the price has been adjusted a bit.  The amount of SPS I accumulated, is still crazy considering that in such a short time, I have tripled the amount I had. 
<p/>
My goal is to continue to accumulate more SPS in the future so that I don't need to keep renting in the market. I plan to do something similar with the Soulbound cards.

Hace unos dias, el valor estimado de mi SPS era de 50 dólares, pero ahora se ha ajustado un poco el precio.  La cantidad de SPS que acumule, sigue siendo una locura teniendo en cuenta que en tan poco tiempo, he triplicado la cantidad que tenia.

Mi objetivo es seguir acumulando a futuro más SPS para no tener la necesidad de seguir rentando en el mercado. Algo parecido tengo planeado con las cartas Soulbound.
