"I think that is a states rights issue"
No it is a human rights issue. If they can tell you which drugs to take as arbitrarily as America and the UN does, then you have no rights, no freedom. You are free to use drugs, as long as you buy them from the state and the drugs you use are either worse than the disease they are intended to cure or are not intended to cure anything but rather cause disease like alcohol and tobacco. Schedule 1 drugs are supposedly drugs with no medical use. If that is the case tobacco is both highly addictive and a complete detriment to the physical body. Why then do they allow us to consume cigarettes with ZERO limits. You can buy all the cancer causing tobacco you want, enough to distill pure nicotine even, a lethal poison even in small drops. Or enough alcohol to poison a water supply. Weed on the other hand is highly taboo even as State after state legalizes it and many cancer ptsd and other patients discover it most defiantly has a medical use. The government does not care about your health and safety they care about controlling you. It is time to do what the federal government does best and strong arm the states, but this time for a good reason. Nationwide Marijuana legalization or we never really MAGA did we?
