After the huge spike on the 12th, Bitcoin continued to push upwards, stopping at the macro 50% resistance. This move came with bearish divergence on both the RSI and MACD, so a good consolidation around these levels is required before we'll see much more upside.

Volume has also dropped back a bit towards normal levels after the spike. With the level of volatility of the last few days, its likely to remain high unless the consolidation range squeezes significantly.

At the moment, there aren't many bearish signs, however this does feel a bit like a bull trap in the larger context, so its best to only build up positions near strong support and keep tight stop losses.

ETHBTC has now seen double bearish divergence on the RSI and some bearish divergence on the MACD too. Volume stayed fairly high as we climbed to 0.06466, however we can see the highest volume came on the bearish candles.

While Ethereum is looking strong in the medium term after this major breakout, it looks in need of a pullback in the short term. After its pulled back to a good support and/or formed a bullish consolidation zone, we can look at building up longer term positions.

Bitcoin Cash has pulled back to make a retest of lows. Volume is certainly lower on the current leg down, but a break of 0.09114 is likely given the larger bearish context. I would recommend any bulls wait for a strong bounce from support and a later break of 0.09792 before considering any positions. At the moment, there is too much downside risk as a break of 0.09114 and 0.09050 would lead significantly lower.

Litecoin couldn't hold support as Bitcoin broke upwards, instead dropping sharply towards 0.01566. While lower than the dip on the 12th, volume still remains fairly high near lows, making a continued bearish movement a possibility. I recommend both bears and bulls waiting on the sidelines until we've established a clear support level and market direction.
