Its pretty obvious that the dollar is on a slow decline and has been for the last 100+ years.  Its also pretty obvious where China and Russia are placing their bets as to what will have value once this decline accelerates.  

Russian Gold reserves hit another record again in January 2018 at 1857 tons, passing the 'official' China total of 1843 tons (although nobody in their right mind believes the Chinese figure is that low).  Russia added a whopping 600,000 ounces of Gold in January alone.

Since June 2015, the Central Bank of Russia has added over 576 tons (18.5 million Ozs) to their Gold reserves.  In this same period of time, the United States has added almost $3 Trillion ($3,000,000,000,000) to its "official" national debt that doesn't even include unfunded liabilities.

You can invest your money in wishful thinking that this will all continue on forever...or you can use your brain and prepare for the inevitable.
