Yesterday I went against my very fiber and did a food review. No, nothing against those who do food reviews, but one thing my Ma taught me about food, is to eat it when it’s hot. Not take photos first lar!

Anyway, if you read the post, you'll know the cost of the meal was RM34. And because @deborism insist that men don’t need to buy meals for girls all the time (lucky me), it was only RM17.

It’s been 20 hours since the post, and the pending payout is **SBD21.51**, and 35% of it would be around SBD7.52. (Why 35%? Check out this [post](https://steemit.com/teammalaysia/@maverickfoo/100degrees-7th-december-2017-or-slides-notes-and-then-some).)

So, the post makes about RM361, and the cost of the meal was RM17. *The time it took to write the post?* About an hour including editing, and formatting for markdown. Even if you take a 50% lost in conversion, which is ludicrous, I can still go back to Frame Thai 9 more times (which I probably will now. Heck, I will even do more reviews on their other dishes).

I thought about something I told Debbie about a year plus ago: 

> "I want to earn USD and spend MYR."

I think with Steemit, I just did! With SBD1 = USD11.70 now, heck, that’s even better!

*So am I tell you think to boast?* Hardly.

But if you have similar dreams like me, to earn in a higher currency (USD, GBP, Euros) and spend in a “cheaper” country (Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam etc), then it’s damn good time to put those content creation skills to good use.

And for those who dream of living a digital nomad life, experiencing the world as you “work” in different places every month, I can’t think of a better platform right now.
