Mini Motivation #13 - Don't let the irresponsible actions of a few affect your faith in the many.

I just broke one of my rules this morning.

For the mini motivation series, I've pre-designed quotes way in advance, so that every morning, I can just pick one at random and write a short post about it. And I set myself a limit to spend no more than 21 minutes to complete the post and upload it.

Today's different, it took more than 21 minutes, because I was intentionally searching for a quote that can help me express the deep dissatisfaction within me.

I'm sure you've met countless irresponsible people in your life. Some of them could be free loaders while others are just plain uncountable. They would disappoint you when expectations are not met. They would distress you when they turn up late without informing earlier. They would disgust you when they just don't bother apologising.

Sometimes after encountering these irresponsible people, you'd thought,

> "Oh man, not again! This is not the first time. Why are people always like that?"

Oh, and boy do they can come in different shapes and sizes - the old and ignorant, the young and immature, the parents who don't give a shit, the "friend" who's always looking for sympathetic assistance, the community hero who just steals the lime light but disappears in time of need.

I know it's hard for me to ask, but here's the thing:

***Don't let the irresponsible actions of a few affect your faith in the many.***

***Don't let the people who drop the ball make you drop your faith in others.***

I know it's hard, because I'm asking that of myself too. Believe that there is still someone out there that can really use your helping hand, and let not the bad experience of the past prohibit you from doing a good deed in the future.

*Will you be taken for a ride again?* Sure, but you know you…

> You still want to believe in the goodness of people.

**Mini Motivation** is my own daily strategy to inspire myself. Mostly 3 minute reads.

From *Motivation*, we gain ***Inspiration***. From *Inspiration*, we achieve ***Momentum***. And the rest, they say, is history.

Hope it helps nudge you a bit too in the right direction.

***Oh it did?*** Let me know in the comments, and of course an upvote would be a nice motivation for me. :)

Stay awesome!
