You ran into an old friend from college, and both of you had time to spare, so you decided to catch up. I mean, it has been years since both of you met, surely there are much to tell.

Ten minutes in, both were you are done, and sadly, on your phones.

*You know what's that to me?* Either both of you spoke really, really fast, were crappy storytellers or lived very, very dull lives.

If you had always lived life by colouring inside the lines, you're not risking much at all. When you're presented by opportunities and the *possibilities of failure* prohibits you from the *attempt at success*, then I'm afraid you'll live a life that can be summarised under a few minutes. 

The truth is, even in that version of your life, you will have success, because sometimes, success comes easy. But because you didn't work hard at it, because you didn't risk much, because you didn't go toe-to-toe with failure and fought a few bouts, those successes will just feel, well, *meh*.

So challenge yourself today. Attempt something that's unlike you. Risk something. And create amazing, flavourful stories that you will entertain your grandkids with.
