These two words are very “Powerful” and also “Confusing”. Ask me why? 
A lot of people mistake the later to be the former, and others do not really know the true meaning of them at all. 
Trust me it took me a lot of time to delve into these two words.


*Imaging a twenty two years old person and an eight years child given the same opportunity to run, what would happen? Think deeply about it…*

Also if a person who is taller than the other are given the same opportunity to watch a game like football or volley ball with the place being overcrowded and the two of them trying very hard to see or watch the game, which one of them would be able to watch and enjoy the game?

**Let’s say two people are given the opportunity to context in an eating competition and one of them is thirty years old and at the same time twenty years older than the other contestant,  meaning the second contestant is just ten years old. So if both of them are given the same bowl full of cooked rice and tomato source and are told to eat all at the same time, which one of them would win the competition considering their ages that would greatly affect the size of their tummies**

*Naturally, we have some children or young people that are very brilliant than their age mates, and I do not doubt that fact because sometimes the age of someone do not determine their level of knowledge or wisdom, BUT it really determines it most of the time. You could see that majority of individuals in same age group does similar things and also their level of intelligence is quiet the same that is why in various schools worldwide, pupils or students in the same age group are allowed to be in the same class, so that they can all benefit equally. Missing old people with younger ones would affect both of the two groups because the older ones would bully the younger ones which would have a greater negative impact in their learning and the younger ones would sometimes not even attend school frequently by missing class. The older ones would also not be serious with what they are being taught because they might feel it is bellow them and would not concentrate and also do other things that might be against school rules and regulations. And so missing older people and younger ones in the same class will put so much burden on the teachers or instructors likewise the students.*

**Although both the younger and older people were given equal right to education but it would not benefit them in anyway.**


When people are given the same privilege or equal right to enjoy or participate in the same event, they should also be given different resources or benefit that would make them both enjoy equally. That is if the two of them are watching say a program on television and the shorter one can not see well he or should should be provided with what would make him or her see equally as the other one "EQUITY" comes in then.


Given the mandate to people to benefit from the same resource but the conditions towards it do not favor all , then there should be amendment or the provision of some other things so that all of them can benefit equally and equity also sets in. 

*Assuming on a twenty story building, with only stairs that has been provided for all the people in the neighborhood with the community hospital, mall and other commercial activity being there, how would a disabled person ho cannot walk go there to enjoy those amenities that he or she is entitled to? In this case there should be other alternative like elevator or escalator for those group of people so that they can all enjoy it EQUALITY and when the other alternative is provided for them, EQUITY.*
 
 I am so much grateful to @richforever for introducing me to #steemit, and it was not just the introduction but he really educated me on so many things that would help me post good and professional articles on the platform that would educate others and also makes them feel relaxed and know more on some social and motivational issues. And trust me I am equally enjoying every bit of post that I read  from others. And so I would say that if @richforever just introduced me then EQUALITY stepped in, but still educating me on how I should go about my post and other stuff, EQUITY comes in then.
