After reading some of my followers having a QoinPro.com wallet  I signed up too. Pretty cool as each day the site has a faucet giving you a certain amount of coins on every wallet they offer. Anyways not longer than a month after signup I got an email stating they are anticipating a bitcoin fork called "Super Bitcoin".

Super Bitcoin is advertised to be 1 BTC to 1 Super Bitcoin. The coin is also said to increases privacy, can do smart contracts, bigger block sizes and faster transactions than BTC. The official website http://www.supersmartbitcoin.com/ is listing the reasons for the fork is to have bitcoin better compete with ETH and Zcash in regards to smart contracts and coin privacy. Also on the site the estimated fork date is 12/17/2017 at block height 498,888.

Personally I started looking at cryptos after the bitcoin cash fork. Since then I seen bitcoin gold, bitcoin diamond, super bitcoin, and bitcoin platinum. It is not taking long for so many forks to occur and it feels like more will come. In the long run I think this will hurt bitcoin than help. The new investments flowing into crypto will now have the potential to go to some of these forks instead of bitcoin itself. These coins made a fork is always presented in a way to help the bitcoin environment work better, but I feel they are trying to piggy back the success of bitcoin.
