In the game under the "update" window there was a link to reviewing rules of Splinterlands. The attacking order flow chart was something I have not reviewed in years! The priorities when the speed number is the same follows up with attack type, then rarity and ending up with monster's level.  

Within attack type I did not remember that weapons training would still be ahead of melee in terms of who goes first.  This would also imply if the attack learned was magic or range it would still be behind that of monsters who have original magic and range attacks.  

Higher rarity providing the benefit to go first makes sense.  What is interesting tough is in reverse speed everything is flipped.  Therefore commons become the best cards to use if the intention is to attack first.  This is quite easy to find more often having common cards with low speed.

To round it out the level up of a card is important.  I always knew max level cards would have their advantages, but to think in reverse speed this is actually the opposite.  Now it is making me second guess in that if I do play such matches and my opponent has lower level monster cards does it end up me losing due in part my cards attacks are slower?

In terms of attack accuracy I have always felt this comes out more of random play than actual abilities.  Often I have matches where it seemed like an easy win but I continue to have attacks misses which only ended up having my opponent knock out my monsters.  Interesting in terms of accuracy being effected in reverse speed there appears to be none.  If this is true players can strategize on selection of abilities even under reverse speed.

What is also interesting to review is that in Brawls where home team and level of Barracks breaks the tie breakers.  I have not really sense the advantage when playing the brawls but something worth looking out for now that I am aware of it.
