<center>  </center> Those who follow me for a while and seen my posts know how bullish I am on Splinterlands. The very reason I sticked by Hive ecosystem is because of the game. Yet I will admit current conditions for the game don't seem all that good. It almost seems like people have lost hope for the game. Card prices continue to flow in a downtrend in total net worth.  Not to mention DEC now is further away from peg on the negative side since the big news with SPS staking used as reward ranking and land 1.5. With all that being said what more can we be negative about the game at this current junction? <h2>In Order To Have High There Must Be Low</h2> Ying and Yang. Black and White. Water and Fire. In order to see through the highs for Splinterlands we will have to see through the lows too. The difficult question to ask ourselves is if the high in 2021 was the peak? I personally do not think so as there has been so much development and improvement with the game and assets that it is worth holding on and continue investing. I have heard there are better games out there and more worth wild playing, but Splinterlands is one of the originals. Do you know how valuable originals can be? <h2>MTG's Black Lotus</h2> Before MTG's Ring card that took the world by storm with a sale of over $1 million there was the first and one of the most rarest cards ever to be made from MTG. The one and only Black Lotus in the alpha set of 1993.  The most recent mint condition alpha Black Lotus sold for over $500k. There were later prints of the same card in future editions and as of this year there was another version printed for the 30th anniversary. Even the latest version is fetching over $10k. <h2>Time Is Money</h2> If you are a believer in crypto you have to believe that one of the original NFTs that have stood the test of time will still exist 10 years from now, and maybe even 20 years or even 30 years from now. If the game still works and there are active participants just imagine how much history the game has dated back.  Over on Dappradar.com Splinterlands is ranked 4th most popular game in the crypto space. This proves the game is still relevant today as it was five years ago when it started. Then there is the facts that both ranked first and second on the list were games that got rugged pulled. Developers have not and likely will never make further advancements in those games. Splinterlands on the other hand has at least one solid year to see what it can do to improve on what it has already built as mentioned by Aggy in Town Halls. The runway of one year is not set in stone as every year the game has continue to exist there has continue to be improvement in game play and features. There is a lot to look forward to in the near future for Splinterlands. I do not want the present market value to cloud our views of what this game's potential can truly become.
