Drawing From Observation- Still Life Drawing
Drawing from observation takes a considerable practice and is as much about looking as it is about drawing.

You could be studying at an object close-up like this drawing above (2 pairs of shoes) I made and in a great details or a wide landscape. 

Whatever the case may be, the objective of the practice is to observe, and interpret what you have seen into marks on paper.

The most important aspect of drawing drawing from observation is "looking". The development process takes time.
