### Hi all, ##### The past week I've been practicing mindfulness and gratitude. ##### I always try to take some time during the day to reflect on life with gratitude, but this past week has been especially stressfull and with some rough reminders that nothing should be taken for granted. # Today I got the news that the father of someone I know passed away from a heart attack at the age of 56. I'd never met the person, but still I felt a strong sense of grief for the person I know who now have lost her dad. More so than I used to. Maybe it's because we're the same age, maybe because I'm getting older and death somehow feels like a more real part of life than it ever used to. A couple of days ago I also heard about soemone we know who was in a car accident and ended up needing brain sergury. She was driving home from work and got hit by somone just like that. I myself, as many people I would assume, don't go around thinking about those kinds of things in general. Accidents and sudden deaths I mean, so when they do occur it really is a reminder to be grateful and mindful with the time we have. Today I wanted to share some photos with you for one thing that I am very grateful for and never take for granted, Being able to go for walks in nature. These past few weeks we've had access to a car which has made it possible to drive out to one of my favorite places here where I live, Praia do Guincho, and go for sunset walks in the dunes around the beach. It's been like we say in norwegian, ''Som balsam for sjelen''! Which means _''Like conditioner for the soul.''._ I've been bringing the camera to take some photos of the changing lights and colors. It never get's as good as it is in real life, but they bring me joy and I wanted to share them so maybe you can get some joy too. ### What are you grateful for today? <3 As always I hope you are all having a wonderful and creative day! <3
