 After a deaf search, our group decided to drop by Danao Lake.  This lake in Albay is a beautiful and pristine lake, located in the municipality of Polangui. This is the only lake in Polangui, Albay. It is known for its lush vegetation and mountains, including Mt. Malinao and Mt. Masaraga. This is also the home of various species of fish, including the tabyos or sinarapan, which is considered one of the smallest fish in the world. Our plan is just to explore and take a few photos to capture wonderful memories together.    But as we arrived, the staff offered kayak rentals which cost around P100 or $1.75 for 40 minutes, which is a great value. He said we could explore the lake at our own pace and enjoy the stunning scenery while relaxing with our family and friends. He also assures us that if we're not a strong swimmer, they're providing life jackets. Hearing that offer, we quickly rented a duo kayak, eager to paddle our way across the serene lake. I was with my brother. We then wear the life jacket on and get the paddles.    With the warm sunshine sparkling on the calm water, we climbed into our kayak.   We were excited to try kayaking and explore Danao Lake's serene beauty. After a quick briefing from the staff, we start our adventure. I sat in the front, and my brother took place in the back, holding the paddle. With a gentle push, we glided into the lake.   As we paddled, the surrounding landscape and the lush greenery of the nearby mountains provided a stunning backdrop. The lake's tranquility calms our minds. I also try splashing my hands in the water, rocking our kayak gently. As we paddled further, we spotted fish swimming beneath the surface.   It's the tabyos or sinarapan. Their scales shimmer in the sunlight. Midway out on the lake, we took a break, floating lazily. We can hear the soft sound of water lapping against the kayak. But then, disaster struck! My brother accidentally dropped his paddle into the water. I tried to help him, but it was too late. The paddle had already floated away. We were left drifting helplessly, with the lake's gentle currents. We can't help but giggle uncontrollably. Just as we started to get worried, our friend on the other kayak helped us. We finally retrieved the paddle. Before we knew it, our 40 minutes were up. And we reluctantly paddled back. As we stepped out of the kayak, we couldn't help but smile at each other as we felt a sense of contentment, knowing that we had made wonderful memories together.  This Kayak adventure at Danao Lake helps us to experience both physical activity and the beauty of nature. The sounds of water and the gentle ripples of the lake make that experience perfect.
