 There’s nothing quite like a good bog. And this one was perfectly timed. _insert laughter track here_ I discovered on Thursday that my wife had completely booked out my weekend, including Friday night. We have a tonne of catch ups with people to celebrate our return to living in Adelaide. I had to be back in Adelaide for a dinner at 7pm. To get there on time I had to leave site at 2pm sharp so that I could get home, change clothes, and grab an Uber into the city. Nothing like a good bogging to put a spanner in the works though! Thankfully, I was rescued reasonably quickly. But I now owe 2 people a carton of beer each. Beer is currency on mine sites. And needing a rescue like this is normally worth a considerable amount of beer. Oh and I arrived at the dinner only 15 minutes late. Which isn’t bad given the the circumstances.
