*Moving throughout the globe exposes you to a wide range of cultures. These cultures assist you in distinguishing one from the other depending on the distinctions they create. The Akans' way of life is one of the most beautiful I've seen in Ghana. The Akans seem to be Ghana's biggest ethnic group. They express their opinions in a variety of ways. I'm not telling you this because I'm an Ashanti who belongs to the Akan tribe.*

Having seen several diverse cultures in Ghana, the Akans, namely the Ashantis, seem to have a distinct beauty. The tradition they portray on the majority of the things they perform are appealing. They are people who are so inextricably linked to culture that it is impossible to take it away from them. Every part of the Ashantis reflects who they are and where they came from.

This is a wonderful illustration of how they dress and how they portray themselves in different activities. Whoever arrives to this gathering today will undoubtedly inform themselves that this is a gathering of the Akans. It was a wedding ceremony that brought all these people together. All Ghanaians can distinguish which ethnic group a person belongs to based on their diet, clothing, and, most importantly, the language they speak.

Despite the fact that wearing such a clothing has become the norm for all Ghanaians, however, the Akans, particularly the Ashantis, have a unique method of displaying themselves at marriage rites. This assumes that the two children who are getting married are both or one of them from the Akan ethnic group in Ghana. The elders, have a unique style of wearing their garments. It's always lovely to watch how the women also demonstrate their culture in such activities with so many beautiful colors. I am an Ashanti, and I am very proud of the beauty that our culture has to offer.
