*When was the very last time you took one? Shawarma or Shawurma as others may term it.. This is one of the dishes most street in Ghana have one. It is found almost every busy street and the hottest bar or restaurant l have known. This foreign dish has been accepted by Ghanaians and so its patronage has been on the rise. I barely take shawarma but here l found myself on the street of Bantama in Kumasi trying to get myself one. It is just as the local khebab or chinchinga preparation on the street*.

**It is mostly prepared with seasoned chicken,meat,spices and suace wrapped with bread. Its preparation doesn't really take long. This video gives a clear picture of how the food is prepared. I believe you can easily have a homemade shawarma if with the available ingredients.
I still haven't seen any female vendor preparing one. Almost all shawarma vendors l have known are all males. Thats a good sign of how males could get into good food preparation.**
*It is a handful incredible and delicious meal which anyone can afford. You may want to find a joint somewhere to buy yourself one. This today is shawarma delight here in Kumasi Ghana.*
