The desire for clean water in Ghanaian villages grows, and starting a hive borehole project is becoming a more common answer and demand. But, before any project can begin, it must be approved by local officials. This update discusses the significance of a meeting with town representatives to request permission to begin a drilling project in Asamang.

A discussion with town officials seems to be required to verify that the project is in accordance with the needs and aims of the community. Following the prior announcement that the significant hive empowerment projects in Ghana will begin in 2023, we are pleased to announce the start of the first hive project in Ghana, the borehole. Thanks to everyone in the hive Ghana community who took the time to attend the meeting with the chosen town to secure the start of the hive borehole project in Ghana. On Monday, February 27th, 2023, a fruitful meeting was held to inform the chief of Asamang in the Ashanti area.
