As we move into phase two of the 20th Hive Borehole Project, we continue the journey to provide clean drinking water for another Ghanaian community. At last, the second phase marks an important milestone in our mission. It is a renewed hope for those who have struggled so long with water difficulties. For community members watching this stage unfold, it is a signal that their desperately awaited solution is just around the corner. 


In the second phase, the Borehole goes through structural development, not just to make it functional and efficient but to ensure it will last well into the future, sustaining life for years on end. Just as construction progresses, community leaders have conveyed the intense excitement that comes with any major project like this beginning to take real shape. Without their contribution, cooperation, and help, operations would not have gone so smoothly; their happiness is a mirrored image of how well the project is already working out.

Up to now, the most touching moment came when high school students visited the site. Always struggling for water, these young learners in fact regularly have to walk a long way to fetch it back before classes. Now they cannot sit still with excitement, looking on as this borehole goes up, knowing that soon they will have safe and reliable drinking water right there in their own village. The construction team has worked with great devotion and labour that cannot but be seen.


Thanks to their daily efforts, the project itself has smoothly advanced to this key phase. Their determination to produce excellent work will ensure that this borehole serves definitely not just the present generation but also many generations to come. Every correctly placed brick and expertly installed pipe is a step towards bringing clean and safe water to the community.
