Hello!
Looks like I forgot to post sooner hehe.

I'm back with another celebrity portrait, this time it's Selena Gomez, yup back to drawing women and in colours hehe, oh and this was based on a photo from a looong time ago, BTW I don't plan to watch Emilia Pérez just in case anyone brings the subjet 🤣, I saw the reviews were abysmal, so decided to take a look at the trailer to see what all the fuzz was about...Yeah the plot seems 0 interesting for me... and I lol'd at Selena Gomez weird spanish speaking parts 😅 sorry not sorry 🙈.

Anyway enough derailing, here bellow you can check the creation process, I hope you like it :3

So I started with a tracing of the photo for using as guide to paint over.

Then went with colour blocking process.

went ahead doing some details for the eyes and eyelids.

And proceeded to start painting the hair, I didn't followed an ordered sequence as you can see, I went full on painting hair details at once instead of just making the colours blocks like I did for the skin.

Once the Hair was mostly done I jumped on smoothing and blending the skin tones.

Almost done with the skin.

Then added the earing detail, which was still blank, I think the original photo was edited for adding that earing because it looked so weird, I tried to fix it the most I could on my painting but it does still look kinda weird.

And now time to paint details such as skin texture as well as the lips.

Added that dark red background and proceeded to add the finishing touches, must not forget to paint the eyebrows! 😅.
