***Clasical methology contains several accounts of creation,telling how creator deities gave the universe shape in form before the first races to inhabit the cosmos were born.These creation stories give the background to the birth of the gods and goddesses who dominate much of classical mythology and who were believed dwell on mount olympos.***


***The Primal Egg***
Eurynome took the form of dove and laid a great egg, around which ophion coild. Warmed by the serpents coil, the egg hatched and out of it came all things that exist.Uranos the sky ourea the mountain, pontus the sea, and all the star and planet. Gaia the earth and mountains and rivers emerged from the egg of the same time.When all this things were born , eurynome and orpion travelled to mount olympos and made their home there.But orpion declared herself soul creatorofthe cosmos, and eurynome punished him for this by first kicking him and then, when he persisted by bunishing him to the underworld forever.

From this union were born not just the lakes and seas, but also the earliest races of creatures that inhabited the earth.First of this were the hundred. handed giants each whom had 50 heads and 100 arms branching out from their shoulder. Then cane the cyclopes. a race of one eyed giants who were skilled in metalworking.
