Before today if you wanted to convert SWAP.HIVE to MEME token you had to either do it on exchange and hope there was enough MEME being offered at near the bid price or trade SWAP.HIVE on the diesel pools for PHOTO token and then trade PHOTO for MEME token and vice versa converting MEME to SWAP.HIVE. Obviously an extra step incurred an extra fee which isn't ideal.

Starting today users on the HIVE blockchain can directly exchange between MEME token and SWAP.HIVE through the [SWAP.HIVE:MEME liquidity pool](https://www.hiveme.me/pool/). This is helpful for users who need to make a simple trade and Hive speculators who wish to engage in DeFi arbitrage.

Speaking of DeFi: there is a 1% daily bonus for liquidity provided to the SWAP.HIVE:MEME pool. The current rewards for LP distribution deposited today are 10 SWAP.HIVE and 100k MEME. More rewards will be added to the pool in the coming weeks.
