HEY MY FELLOW STEMIANS! today I will share to you our kind of Mini Science Centrum happened last year in Cebu Normal University. 

Last year we organize a Mini Science Centrum in the theme of "It is not knowing but the love of learning that defines a Scientific Man". For the love of Science we aim to promote evidence based on thinking and scientific understanding in our society.

In our Mini Science Centrum you can found and learned the different philosophers and their own philosophy and contributions. 

PHILOSOPHY, is derived from the literal meaning of "The Love of Wisdom". There are many opinions and ideas about what philosopher is and their contribution in the field. Some philosopher are known based on their ideals in the field of reasoning and logic. Others are known because of their writings and through to their students. 

Since we are talking about the philosophers, in our Mini Science Centrum you can learned about the different philosopgers along with their contributions and important theories. 

* JEROME BRUNER - Spiral Curriculum
  • Jerome is the one of the founding fathers of constructivism. He is also awarded as International Balzan, and he introduce the process of education and the development of the theory of Spiral Curriculum.

  • Piaget is the one who contribute the theory of cognitive development tgat focuses on how learners interact with their environment to develop complex reasoning and knowledge.

  • Watson is the one who established the psychological school of behaviorism. 
* EDWARD THORNDIKE - Law of Effect
  • he is the famous in psychology in his work on learning theory that leads to development of operant conditioning within behaviorism.
