Hey you! Before you start to read my story, I'll suggest we make an agreement that you won't laugh at me but only at the experience. Yes, there's a difference with those two kinds of laugh 😂 just don't laugh at the whole story too much and instead congratulate me for getting myself out of it at last.

It was like 7 years ago when I first got the opportunity to own a Facebook account through a friend of mine who was always on Facebook and I thought it'd be cool to own one when she told me she has lots of friends unlike her reality with no friends except me.

**I thought having lots of friends on Facebook would be so cool...**

I registered an account even though I had no phone to stay active 😂 my friend and I would use her phone within a time given to us to chat a little. Thinking about it now, she was a really kind soul. She didn't make me feel like the phone wasn't mine, I always got to use it whenever I wanted to and same with her too (*actually, na only Facebook we dey use the phone do* 🥲)

We continued like that for almost a year and I also got to experience what it felt like to have a lot of virtual friends, we would talk all day about the annoying ones we've chatted with and the sweet friends we've chatted with... That our friendship sweet that year sha 😁

And finally, I got a new phone to stay active at night when I'm not with my friend. You see that phone in my hand on that picture? That phone was like an iPhone for me back then, it could do almost anything I wanted to do (*tell me it isn't like an iPhone*) 🙄

This phone lets me stay online for as long as I want to with small amount of data spent (*my friend actually gives me airtime to buy data, she sells recharge cards back then* 😂) and this phone allows me to take really good picture (*HD quality*) and listen to music with best sounds through my ear piece. Above all, this phone was all I needed back then to be my own Boss.

**Then Facebook happened to me...**

You know you've not been on Facebook if you don't go for a first meet up with a person you chat with most often. And you've not been on Facebook if you don't block somebody or somebody don't block you. Again, you've not been on Facebook if you don't get scam in your weak state 🥲

So yeah, all those happened to me but at different times and they all led me to love and value this blogging site called Hive more than any social media platform.

My first Facebook meet-up went well but the second with another friend turned me into a liar, I had to lie that my mum was asking for my presence just so I could run away from him... **He was hopping on one leg** 😳😂 God forgive me o

The first time I blocked a friend on Facebook, I felt one kind of peaceful wave go through my chest... *That guy wanted to frustrate me with bad chats and lies*.

The first and last time I got scammed was when I sent 5k to get 10k from the person... *Shey na me help am work the 5k turn to 10k abi?* 😂 I didn't blame the lady sha, it was my greediness I blamed.

Let me end my Facebook story here, if I should tell the other parts, we won't leave here and it won't be a story again... It will be a seasonal movie.</div>
