In this video I go over how to use the inverse function method to easily find the derivative of e<sup>x</sup>. Using the fact that e<sup>x</sup> is the inverse of the ln(x) or natural log function, it can be proved very easily using implicit differentiation and the chain rule that the derivative of e<sup>x</sup> is simply itself, e<sup>x</sup>.
