People looking for food in the trash. A common image since 2016 - [Source](http://elvenezolanonews.com/transparencia-venezuela-amanece-con-un-mapa-rojo-y-una-alarmante-crisis/) As there's a regime in Venezuela that has been ruling the country for almost 20 years, some people doubt about the rejection of this regime by the people, as they are using only election data to support their claims. So I want to explain what's happening at this time in a way for people to easily understand: **Is the majority in Venezuela against Nicolás Maduro?** # Yes <br /> **Do you have a way of expressing it?** At least two: mass demonstrations and elections. **Why do not they do it?** - They killed demonstrators. - They suspended a recall, and they stole the election of governors. So most people won't vote. **Does it mean that everything is lost?** No way. People that are facing the government and that power beneath them is just not monolithic. It could still fracture and weaken much more, increasing the contradictions and conflicts between its members and its mafias. **Who is working on that?** That is the doubt. Protests, despite the risk, can increase the critical mass, record the resistance, demand other rights, build new networks, but without direction or leadership they get frustrated and diluted quickly. [Voting in an illegal election only perpetuates a crime and pays frustration](https://steemit.com/informationwar/@metalmag25/27-days-remaining-to-the-bogus-elections-in-venezuela-to-vote-or-not-to-vote). The paradox of the Venezuelan crisis is that while misery is multiplied by governmental design, those who can rebel must solve the emergencies of their lives, while the rest become even more vulnerable and dependent on the State without more options to wait and obey. That said: neither hyperinflation nor the collapse of basic services make a dictatorship crack. On the contrary, it is their greatest interest as long as they can preserve the business. That is why the question remains: **How to increase their internal contradictions?** That is why we must point out the most notorious differences: - Some are drug traffickers and others are not - Some will be judged by torturers and human rights violators, not all are equally guilty - Some stole dollars and other bolivars. Some thousands and millions. Some one chicken and others nothing. So it is not about doing anything just because, hoping that goodwill can help us to acheive everything. It is about increasing the real and individual costs of staying in power to the kidnappers/dictators and generating incentives for their exit. For that, **more well-supported information is needed to identify criminals and weaken their alliances**. Much would be done if, **in addition to sanctioning and freezing accounts, media and sanctioners publish at least how much is there and who else is part of the network**. That would be helpful to take a step ahead of the enemy that we fight in this InformationWar. **It is our duty to spread the truth. If you agree, i invite you to resteem the post. Let's prevent the Americas for what could happen if we don't take a stand against socialism in all the hemisphere.** **The Information War is real.** **Join #INFORMATIONWAR @ Discord: https://discord.gg/tDhaBS2**
