After having found some considerable damage on one of my rear tyres due to having too much killerwasps under the bonnet and some camber dialed in for the twisties . it was time to get some new soles for the shoes of my stag.

I have been in my area for a while and tend to stick to good things when I find them. JAX Quickfit tyres in Liverpool Sydney is one of these good things. They do everything from basic tyre changes to coilover set ups for almost any vehicle you can think of. A mate even once got his ride on lawn mower wheels fixed up here, lol.  JAX has done all my suspension and wheel set ups for over a decade.

When I went in last week to have my tyres fixed up, they didn’t have my rubber in stock, so I had to get them to order it in and wait. Today was the day I got to have the work done and it feels good having the car back and in good order. New rubber is on and she is ready for some action, lol. I got an alignment as well and found the toe on the right rear was out by about 3 deg, the rest was only a bit off. I would say this is due to some hard driving and a few knocks from street driving.

Stag was out in the carpark making new friends and mingling with the crowd. she is very humble about her power output, lol.ill need to organize a good run to test out the new tyres and set up. A spirited drive is in order.... but who to invite? maybe i will make a call out on social media and see how i go..... then again, i like my car meets small and intimate. makes sure the riff raff does not catch wind of the meet... decisions, decisions, lol.
