_My skin is dark and my hair quite brown,_
_You go on and tag me "a black"_
_Your skin so light and hair so blonde,_
_I go on and label you "a white"._



_We put each other down on social media,_
_I go on to say I hate "whites"_
_And you say "black lives don't matter"_
_We let the hate come in._



_We go to war against each other,_
_We descriminate each other,_
_You call me a slave,_
_And yourself a slave master._



_I'll take us back to Prince Oba's writing,_
_I'm not black and you're not white_
_I didn't come out of my momma's womb saying,_
_Hey everyone, I'm black._



_You weren't meant to call me that,_
_Along with whatever you call yourself,_
_Hating on me by the colour of my skin,_
_But this is just a skin._



_I drive a car and you don't get to tag me by the label of my car,_
_It's just my car and not me,_
_It's just my body and not me,_
_It's just a label._



_sn't it funny how babies cry to the sound of another baby crying,_
_Irrespective of skin color or nationality,_
_Or how the magnificent butterfly breaks out from the body of a caterpillar,_
_Sending a message that it ain't about the body._



_We have political leaders starting wars,_
_Teaching us skin colours and racism,_
_Making us believe we are different,_
_So we hate on each other by the different production of melanin._



_Well I'll say this,_
_We all should be like a panda,_
_He is white, black and Asian,_
_He is not selective of nationality and skin color._



_We must tear these labels off,_
_We must rip them apart,_
_And accept each other,_
_Love each other despite our different skin colours._



_And it's our minds that matter,_
_Not the colour of our skin,_
_Not the geographical regions,_
_Or the languages._



_We are all one,_
_Black, white, Asians, Africans, Indians, native Americans,_
_We should love each other equally,_
_Our skin doesn't define us._
