<html> <p>To the creators of STEEMIT: I have a serious request and some questions about a Steemit referral program. </p> <p>At the moment Steemit is the only serious blockchain social media platform. I am sure this will change soon, because the potential is huge and a lot of money is to be made. Network effect will be a very strong factor to keep ahead of the future competitors, so everyone we can get into Steemit before other platforms pop up will increase our chances to finally be the winner!</p> <blockquote>If Steemit will enable a referral program now, many new users will flock to Steemit and it will be much harder for future competitors to win the race!</blockquote> <p><img src="https://i.imgsafe.org/efa106d5e1.jpg" width="640" height="640"/></p> <p>I know there had been some requests already and their is a referral link created. Almost all the available information is telling me that there are no earnings to be made yet and I don't know who created this link. This will be the link in my case: </p> <p>www.steemit.com?r=michiel</p> <p><em>If you want to use it change the username at the end of the link</em></p> <p><strong>My request is:</strong></p> <p>Please enable a referral program as soon as possible to expand before another platform will take the market share. If there is one already, it is probably not known by many Steemers, so please make an announcement!</p> <p><strong>My questions are:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Is there a referral program already or are there any plans? If yes, when will it be ready to use?</li> <li>Is the link mentioned above right?</li> <li>How will we be able to earn on referrals? An amount of SP per new account or a % of earnings of the new member?</li> </ul> <p>Today I placed the referral link on one of my websites and a full page about Steemit will follow. I have no idea if it will earn on referred traffic yet, but I want to promote Steemit anyway.</p> <p>Furthermore I bought these domain names a while ago:</p> <p><img src="https://i.imgsafe.org/980f842610.png" width="137" height="83"/></p> <p>When I am sure a referral program is available or will be enabled soon, I will build a website and send traffic to Steemit.</p> <p>I think there are many internet marketeers on Steemit, so this will be a huge source of newcomers and boost the adoption.
