It a privilege to be a partaker of this week's contest by @ecotrain. Participating in this contest has always been mind lifting. It is either you gain or you gain  when participating, no loose ends. This weeks topic is all about Nature. The topic is tagged :
>*SHARE A STORY ABOUT ONE OF YOUR FAVOURITE NATURE EXPERIENCES. WHY IS CONNECTING WITH NATURE IMPORTANT?,*

Since the first day I went hiking, that was the day I fell deep in love with nature. Nature is a settings that has no specific  definition to me because it speaks about a lot of things. People observe nature and have different thing to say about it.

There was this day I went hiking, although it was not my first time then but I was still eager because it a different place entirely. The landscape of the whole area was like a zig zag, we limb up then go down then climb again. I was so amazed how the whole thing was structured. My eyes where thirsty for more views. We keep going, then we start seeing rocks. Rocks of different dimension. I saw a smaller rock underneath a big rock. My assumption was like ***is this small rock  hiding from the world by staying underneath the bigger rock***? I kept on thinking a lot.

While moving forward, I saw trees of Different heights (15 -20 meter heigh) and birds of different colors jumping from one tree to the other voicing different tones. The air of that particular area was blowing differently, not too much and not too small. All looking perfect. The  whole sound, Trees and air of the area was like the paradise I was being told about then in children Sunday school classes. I was so amazed and was just saying the word **WOW**  Trust me,  I am sure I pronounced the word millions of times. I was feeling comfort inside of me seeing Nature and it's  natural beauty. 

**WHY IS CONNECTING WITH NATURE IMPORTANT?**

I can proudly say 90% of people on earth love nature. Connecting with nature makes one feel alive. Just like I said earlier *I was feeling comfort inside of me seeing nature* this is what majority of us feel inside of us whenever we see the beauty of nature. Having that feeling makes one feel alive. 

We also need to connect with nature because it our life balance. The area of food, shelter and medicine. Where would have been human existence and growth if not for nature. Nature is a bright light to human race. 

Just like **-PATRICIA A.  FLEMMING** said in one of her poem about nature. 

***I sit upon my front porch stoop
Beneath the morning sun.
Grateful for the moment spent
Away from everyone***.

***The air is fresh and slightly chilled,
The sky is blue and clear.
The silence that surrounds me now
Is music to my ears***.

***I love the morning best of all,
It's my most tranquil time,
When the promise of a brand new day
Can ease my troubled mind***.

The above poem has deeper meaning than the mere words we see. I hope we all find comfort in nature as supposed.
