 FUI stands for Fake or Fanstsy User Interface. You see these a lot in sci-fi films and even on things that are supposed to be happening in the modern day. All the screen graphics are just art, typically not actually interactive at all. A few years back, for fun I created an FUI just for practice. This is when I was just starting to learn Cinema 4D and most of my animation work was still in After Effects. These days I pretty much only use AE for compositing and finishing. Animating is a lot faster and more powerful in Cinema, even if the end result is a 2D look. Anyway, here's some pics! Over the years, motion work has slowly taken over as the majority of my freelance work, although I still teach drawing, design, and painting in school. It's a fun balance.
