The Art of Letting Go.......
I like to start my day with a positive attitude, and whatever happened the day before is past. This morning I read this quote from the Hindu Bible " The Bhagavad Gita", and I will like to share with you.
                        Let go of attachment
" You came here empty handed, and you will leave empty handed."
It's easy to think that we 'own' things. But the truth is that we have temporary ownership of them, because when we leave this world, we leave everything.
Sensory pleasures are short-live. When they disappear they can cause suffering. The wise do not attach their happiness to such pleasures. They go beyond them.
I was 17 years old when I lost my mother. It all happened so quickly that we were not ready to let her go. It was hard, but i learned not only to let go but to appreciate and treasure every moment in my life and enjoy it to the fullest.
