The introduction of polls on [Threads](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/loeglossary-threads) has given us the possiblity to add a [rating](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-rating-insurance) system for both [songs](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-song) and [playlists](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-playlist-), but it has also made the process of submitting songs "correctly" a bit more complicated, and also require quite a bit of extra work. This [post](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-post-hive) aims to mitigate some of this.

With this method we instruct [ChatGPT](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-chatgpt) to create complete MusicOnLeo entries for us, to streamline the process of adding songs.

This [video](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-video) shows the entire process. I advise you, however, to read the steps below first, and only reference the video if you get stuck somewhere. Each step is timestamped so you can easily find it in the video if you need to.

## Step 1: Make a list of songs (00:00)
Open an empty text document and type/paste in all the songs you want to add to your playlist, like so:

In this example I'll only use three songs for demonstration purposes, but you can add as many as you want

## Step 2: Get the youtube links (00:06)
Copy/paste the first song into youtube's search and click on the video, then copy the link (no need to get the embed code)

Now paste the youtube link BEFORE the corresponding song, like so:

## Step 3: Generate the song threads (01:15)
Log in to chat.openai.com and **paste** in this prompt (don't hit Enter yet!):

Below is a list where each line contains a URL followed by a string of text. I want you to create one tweet for each line in the list inside a code-box, so it will be easy for me to copy each tweet. The URL that you use in the tweets you create must be a modified version of the corresponding urls in the list. The modification that's needed is to insert /embed after the .com part of the URL

This is how each tweet must be structured exactly:

paragraph 1, i.e. the very first line of the tweet, must contain the corresponding text string from each line in the list
paragraph 2 must be be blank
paragraph 3 must contain the hashtags #musiconleo and #polls

Now paste in your list **below** the prompt you pasted above, then hit Enter. It should look something like this:   https://i.imgur.com/CAwm998.png 

## Step 4: Create your threads (02:10)
You now have one code box for each song, ready for posting. Click the Copy code-button.  Now repeat this process for all the embed codes you have.

Paste it into a new thread, and add a rating poll, then post it.

**TIMESAVING TIP! If you don't refresh the page, but just keep pasting in the code and threads, the poll will be remembered, so you don't have to put in all the response options (the stars) over and over. You'll just have to do it once for the whole playlist**


## Step 5: Create your playlist (04:17)
To make a playlist for the MusicOnLeo [database](https://inleo.io/@leoglossary/leoglossary-database), you must use the tags **'musiconleo'** and **'playlist'**. If the playlist you're creating is also an album, you may also add the tag **'album'** and the artist name. 

**PS! Remember to add a rating poll to the playlist/album too!**

Now you can easily add all the songs you've created by rethreading them (pasting the link to each thread within the playlist thread).
