#portraitcontest for week 27 - SMILE!!!

The dapper gents that started the famous brand Thom Sweeney,  shot for British GQ.  

Thom Whiddett & Luke Sweeney couldnt help but crack up when we started shooting - sometimes a good laugh can break the ice on set and make everything a bit more relaxed.  It worked here

Shot on my #canon #5Dmk3 - can't remember what lense it was but most of my portraits in the studio are shot on the 85mm

Lighting - key light was a hard silver 45" brolly and filled with a couple of profoto heads bounced into a book behind the key.  Also used a black poly board on the camera left to create sculpting on their faces.
