Guy: I just did.
Lady: Liar! Liar! Heartbreaker!
Guy: I knew it! You just wanted to force words into my mouth. You are so mean and you know how much I love you!
Lady: Then say it, tell me that you me!
Guy: I just did, I just did! Dont you see it?
Lady: No! Just call me a bitch then!
Guy: Bitch!

(lady breaks into tears, guy runs after her, their angry voices, screams and pleads can be heard for as long as man breathes)

Sometimes I wonder what the most important thing in a relationship is. I have read a lot of posts on this even here on steemit. People have the view that trust and  understanding are the most important in a relationship. While about 70% would opt for love. However, love seems  to be fleeting and eventually most people would realize that love alone isn’t enough to make one hold on, love alone cannot guarantee happiness, it cannot guarantee an happy ever after.

What is the most important in the relationship?

- I say Compatibility!

Out there, there are lot of broken hearts. The least everyone wants is to find that special person whom they would feel at peace with, whom they would be free with.

Despite how most people say think happiness derived from self is the best, still, a lot of people tie their happiness to families, friends and their partners.

Sometimes we wonder in life why the best relationship counsellors have the worse relationship and marriages but this is because people tend to listen to others more than they listen to themselves.

How expensive is freedom? Man is everywhere in chains. His soul is imprisoned by his heart and his mind imprisoned by his body. The greatest conflict is between the need and the want or our hearts and our bodies and as humans we would forever remain victims.

Hence apart from other reasons like companionship, reproduction, affection and friendship, people look about for homes (hearts) where they can feel safe and accommodated.

Because there comes several times in our life  where this saying doesn’t work “There is no place like home” Home cannot accommodate us, we feel like there is something missing.

Imagine going into another house (Heart) but no matter how beautiful and adoring it looks. You just cannot understand the structures. You keep getting lost in the surroundings of the house. 

You want a warm bath but you get a cold bath. Hence, you might have all the adorable things to make you comfortable yet you do not just fit in!
Hence, what is love without compatibility or understanding? 

Probably people need to start taking relationship as a school. It is not enough to just watch him smile or watch her smile… Oh no, this is real business. Why don’t you want to know why she smiles? What happens before, during and after her smile?

It isn’t enough to just eat one’s cake and have it rush down your throat almost immediately… Feel the flavour! Study your partner!

Don’t just laugh and laugh and laugh and forget to look at their eyes while they are talking, the pitch of their voices, pay attention to the little details. All these reveals a lot about your partner.

Oxford dictionary defines compatible as “easy to get along”

This cut across virtues, behaviour, personality, likes and dislikes, goals and visions. Sometimes we should be able to know when a relationship wouldn’t end well.

A relationship should be enjoyed more than it should be endured.

In the end, what every woman wants is a man who would love her gently, boldly, softly like a man. And what every man wants is a woman who would love him tenderly and make him feel like a baby in the arms of his mother.

Differences can be settled in a relationship and this is where love comes in. We should be willing to let go the part of us that clashes with our partners. The parts that rids them of their happiness.

I believe there is a man for every woman or more like we can make of a man the kind of man we want but this depends of the kind of woman that you are.

What every man wants is a woman that will respect him, however women also want to be respected and be treated with patience and care.

In the end, no matter how great the love is, no one wants to sleep under a burning roof.

Put to good use the love that you have for that lady, that man.

When you love someone, they deserve to be loved rightly.

Truly as they say, being loved is sweet but loving is insanely sweet!

Loving is an exercise and I am forever on the run. . . Keeping love alive!
