Despite the progress being made on Steem and all the development that is taking place over the last months, price kept going down.  

And it reached to point where even some of the most hard core Steemians started having doubts whether we are moving towards the right direction or not.

No matter how you see it, USD / EURO wise or even Satoshi wise...we have bottomed out.

And when one has reached down there, there is only one way left to go. And that is UP.

Of course nothing comes easy and in order for the price of STEEM to scale again, we need to show everyone out there that STEEM is a really hot destination, and the right place for one to be.

There are hundreds of crypto projects one could put their money in, so why should they choose STEEM?

It might be obvious for us since we pretty much know all the potential...the development and probably the secret sauce of them all,...the official release of communities and SMT's.

And it is up to each and everyone of us to shill STEEM on every damn social media platform we are registered into. Twitter...Facebook...Quora...everywhere.

_Imagine being a super talented portrait artist, and whenever you finish an amazing work of yours you simply put your painting in the storage room and start a new one. Do you really expect that people will discover you if you don't show up? You need to shill your work. It will take some time until one notices that you have potential for something bigger than simply making portraits._

Kinda reminds me what we were doing here all those years...

Making a post...engage with our followers and move on to the the next post.

This ain't enough. I know that **x** author is pretty good at poetry and **y** is really good at programming. What we really need though is the whole damn world to know about that...

This is why initiatives such as the ones @theycallmedan and @stephenkendal are hosting are crucial for the future of STEEM.  

We need to advertise this product as hard as we can. Projects with much less development which have absolutely nothing to offer, often spend hundreds of thousands of dollars and promote it everywhere.

I don't really expect that Steemit.Inc has the budget to fund such a campaign, so it is up to us...the community members.


The next HF might be a game changer not only for everyone involved in STEEM but for the whole crypto world. And we are the first ones that will have the chance to see it unfolding...
