# Yellow Bird

Obviously the idea is a spin off from Charles Shultz, but he didn't create this 16 x 16 pixel art version of Yellow Bird.

With 16 x 16 there are not a lot of pixels to work with but I wonder how Atari 2600 did it with one bit sprits  from 1-8 pixels. Today the world is looking at the 3D metaverse and expansion into new and better things. 

At the same time I hear a call to the old to remember a time when after lunch on a Sunday afternoon a kid would spread the Sunday comics on the living room floor and look for that Yellow Bird.

That yellow bird has made his presence on this Hive and especially among the POB community. Last week he had 753 comments on his [post](https://peakd.com/proofofbrain/@mineopoly/verified-valiant-yellow-bird-game). Now the yellow Bird has a pixelized face lift. This pixelized yellow bird will be my profile picture for a while. Let's see how it goes. 

I remember when I first chose this bird as my profile picture some years ago. I thought I was going to be the Jack Dorsey with a little bird following me around. The post was [here](https://proofofbrain.blog/cartoon/@mineopoly/woodstock-my-favorite-peanuts-character). It was the first post that I ever got any upvotes for and it was upvoted by @hr1. I think it was a random upvote. Too much has changed since then and my profile needs a little update.

# Will I see Yellow Bird in the New Year?

Yes. Yellow Bird will continue engagement posts in January and this time with even more yummy prizes.

I've had a lot of fun working together with @callumam on @vybolt and getting the spark started. The VYB community has a lot of vision and some good people so I can only see good things ahead. Yellow Bird will be there and will be part of it.
