After a long time, I watched a romantic movie. Generally, I am fond of thriller ones and watch them mostly. Sometimes it needs to change the weather so I have chosen a romantic movie from my watchlist. Guess what it won my heart. Well, it's not that the story is so romantic that I am drowning in the sea of love and craving for a partner. It did show some reality of life that goes with many of our lives. I liked it for being different from any other typical love story.

Let's move on to the storyline in short. Tom is an architect but works for writing greeting cards. There comes an assistant for his boss named Summer. Tom's attraction falls on summer and somehow their taste for music gets the same and they talk for the first time on this excuse.  They start to come closer. Tom shows her his favorite place from where he often visits and watches this beautiful city. Well deep inside Tom falls in love with her but doesn’t dare to say that directly. Summer takes him as his friend, she doesn’t want to get into a relationship. She wants to be independent and free from all these. But day by day their friendship starts to grow more than that and she still names it as Friendship nothing more than that. Tom insists that it has grown more than a friendship and there is something between them. By the name of the movie, you must have understood that it describes 500 days and that's how the story continues. It shows a different number of days and shows us some incidents from those days.

Maybe the fracture is first seen from the club where Tom got into a fight with a guy who was flirting with Summer and made an unpleasant complement for Tom seeing besides summer. Their breakup also took place all of a sudden from Summer's side. Tom wanted to meet Summers' family and these things came up. Do you know the beauty of relationships reflects even after your breakup and meet the same person again with a smile? They met again on a journey for a wedding of their colleague. Tom wanted to ignore her but couldn't refuse the offer of a coffee from her. That journey went well and there they even danced together and she invited him to her apartment. He was expecting a lot of positive things but the reality turned into something else which he hasn't expected at all. Well if the Summer comes to end may the Autumn starts again.

I haven’t described the full storyline in the fear of disclosing the whole story, what I have written maybe I have given more than enough spoiler. But trust me there is way more than I have written. That shows us that prioritize is not the same in both ways always.  Our expectations will always come to reality and have no guarantee. Even what is written on our destiny is not in our hands. We can't let our happiness be dependant on another person, Tom ends up losing himself because Summer was the only source of his happiness. We can't decide what gets triggered by our actions. Maybe the scenario could be different if something, in particular, may not have happened. The ending is not what you have expected from the beginning but it can be said a happy ending with a new hope.

Truly it was not a typical love story but it was more than that. You can watch it too if you haven’t watched it yet. I loved it more than I could express it through my writing. ***I would like to rate it 9 out of 10.***
