What's up, my #Splinderlands family friends? I hope everyone is fighting together and surprising their opponents with new strategies! || |-| As you know, I am a new player in this game, so I don't have any very good cards, and none of the cards have levelled up that well. But since I have been playing this game, this game is not just a game for me. It is like an addiction. Every day, I think about what new things I can do, how to make my deck a little stronger. It is from this thought that I made a big decision today. I had 13 HBD on my Hive account, so I thought I would put it to good use. Using Hive-Engine, I converted it all into DEC tokens and also bought about 2500 credits. The goal was to buy some new, powerful cards for my Earth and Death Splinter. And to label my cards. Today I'm sharing the stories of the five new cards I bought with you. To be honest, it took me a while to understand their true power, but when I did, I felt like this is what I wanted.
So, friends, let's introduce my new warriors.
|| |-| *
1: Aurelia – the silent protector of my team
First of all, let's talk about Aurelia. When I saw this 6 mana card of Earth Splinter, I thought something else at first. But its real power is Strengthen, which is a blessing for the entire team. Actually, when I opened my account on this gaming platform, I got it as a free level one card. But today I thought I would see how the card would level up a little. So today I levelled this card up three times. Let's briefly know what it does. If you select this Spllentr for your battle, at the beginning of the battle, each monster in my team gets an additional 1 point of Health.
My Gameplay strategy:
You wonder, what else can happen with just 1 health point? But believe me, this small advantage makes a huge difference. Especially when the "Earthquake" ruleset is present, even my weak cards survive the first round. And when the opponent uses Poison, this extra health is still a lifesaver. Aurelia now acts as a silent guardian for my team. || |-| *
2: Underboss Fabino – Two moves in one card.
The most fun and strategic card I have bought is Underboss Fabino. This 5 mana card allows me to make decisions according to the match situation. And I bought this card after much thought. Because I felt that this song would be very helpful in winning my match.
What does this do?
- This gives me two options before the battle starts: - Either I can increase the attack power of my two Melee monsters by 2 points. - Or I can poison one of the opponent's monsters at the beginning.
My strategy:
This card has changed the way I play! When I want to play aggressively, I choose the first option and make my attackers unstoppable. And when I see that the opponent has a huge health tank in the first position, which is almost impossible to defeat, I choose the second option. Before the game starts, that tank is poisoned and gradually weakens. In a word, awesome. || |-| *
3: Thalgrimore – A terrifying presence for your opponent.
*This 6 mana card from Death Splinter is enough to break your opponent's morale. Its Oppress ability is simply deadly.*
What does it do?
*When you put it in your team, the maximum health of each of your opponent's monsters is reduced by 1 point as soon as the game starts.*
My strategy:
This means that the opponent's 1 health monsters disappear from the field without taking any damage! And the rest of the monsters are also weakened. This cuts the work of my attackers in half. Even very difficult matches seem easier to me since I have Thalgrimor in my team. || |-| *
4: Nim Guard Captain – My Wall Against Magic
*I didn't realise the true power of this 7 mana card at first. Its Void ability is a nightmare for magic-dependent teams.*
What does it do?
Whenever it is attacked by a magic attack, its power is reduced by about half.
My Strategy:
Whenever I see my opponent playing Water or Earth Splinters, who have high magic attacks, I immediately put Nim Guard Captain in my first position. Even powerful magic attacks become weak as a baby in front of it. It's like a magical armour for my team. || |-| *
5: Arachne Weaver – A Risky Healer
*The strangest but most powerful card in my collection is Arachne Weaver. Her Corrupted Healing ability is like a sharp knife that needs to be used with care.*
What does it do?
It restores 70% of the health of the other monsters on my team each round. But it has a side effect: every time it heals, that monster's maximum health decreases by 1 point.
My strategy:
This is a high-risk, high-reward card. When my main tank is almost dead, but it's very important to keep him alive for another round, this card works like magic. It heals my tank almost completely, in exchange for a slight decrease in his maximum health. This risky move has won me several losing matches. I can't tell you how much my 13 HBD investment has paid off. These cards not only strengthened my deck but also taught me new strategies. That's the real fun of Splinterlands—continually learning and improving yourself. > What's your deck upgrade story? Have you recently purchased a card that completely changed the way you play?
