<p>When reading on Steem I find a lot of pages, none of which are even worth reading – and are clearly put their only for money, rather than the fact that they actually contain worthwhile information. For instance the politics section is clogged full of people who buy a lot of Steem power and then come up with all these conspiracy theories, which clog up the site. It's stupid and needs to stop. Why?</p>
<ol>
  <li>Steem is designed to give users some of it's profits (basically it wants to be decent), but we're running a "all animals are equal, but some are more equal that others system" – allowing users to buy steem power shows a flawed ideology and needs to stop, unless we want this to become Facebook++</li>
  <li>Money should come second on Steem, the whole point of a blogging platform is that you blog when you have something to say (not when you need to make money)</li>
</ol>
<p>And another point – can steemit add language tagging for posts, and filter content accordingly (unless users can be allowed to opt out).&nbsp;</p>
