Hi guys, is there anything new under the Sun?

# NOTHING NEW 

So I’ve been having a lot of conversations about vibe coding with people, devs especially, while most still think coding with Ai is trash, some have started to accept it. 

For those who are still averse to the idea of Ai doing the work I can’t blame them, we see it happen all the time, some drivers will still tell you manual transmission cars are better than automatic transmission cars today. 

Are they wrong or right? Doesn’t really matter, the question that matters is if the job can be done or not. Can I get to point B from A? Yes thank you. The easier the better. But this is a post for another day. 

Will I ever dispute the relevance of developers? Hell no, even I have a Co-founder who is a real experienced dev, my co—pilot and funny I’m not talking about the Ai co-pilot. 

Anyway, so the conversation usually centers around the ease to build stuff nowadays. I vibe coded 2 apps in 3 days, something that could have taken me months based on my capacity. So why then aren’t abundance of applications? 

# LACK OF IDEAS

Lack of ideas? What do people mean when they say there’s lack of ideas? How could there be lack of ideas when there’s nothing new under the Sun. Everything is an iteration. 

Some quote goes in the line of “good artist steal, great artist copy”, lmao I’m pulling this from the back of my head  at 6am so I might get it wrong lol, permit but understand the point. 

When it comes to ideas for building apps, all I’m saying is that in the billions of apps out there, something can be made better, that’s the deal, pick something up and iterate. I’m not saying don’t build something entirely new, Ofcourse by all means do so. 

# BUILD TODAY

But don’t hold out on building something because you have no idea what to build. Iterate iterate iterate and ship. Build something today.
