Don't worry, my friends. If you're still accumulating Hive in the $0.4 range, you're on the right track. But let's be real: we all saw this market performance coming after the massive run-up, with BTC hitting $31k and Ethereum skyrocketing past $2100k.

A pullback was long overdue - just your typical bull market behavior. Corrections are expected after every new high, and we've learned our lessons. Moreover, Hive's price action remained unfazed, [as we mentioned in the previous post](https://leofinance.io/@mistakili/price-update-the-ice-broke-but), hinting at what was coming next.

Now, before I continue, I have to mention that the infamous $Pepe meme token absolutely nuked the market. Of course, someone out there will say it's just sour grapes because I missed the ride. But think about it: a massive amount of value was seemingly created out of thin air. Where did it all go? 





Does it even matter? It's hilarious that when I first checked the website while it was still under $50m marketcap, there were no clickable links, and it was clearly under construction. Despite that, the market cap soared to over $100m in just a few hours. 

I'm just joking, though - there's no way on earth $Pepe could've single-handedly nuked the market. It simply served as a casual reminder that crypto has the power to melt faces when it chooses to. I hope those who caught the Pepe wave at the right time can make a real difference with their newfound wealth.

Back to the markets. What's next? Bitcoin's dominance is soaring these days, and it's not surprising. I read somewhere that Blur, an OpenSea equivalent for the Bitcoin network, has outpaced OpenSea in terms of NFT sales volume. Bitcoin Ordinals truly shattered the status quo within the Bitcoin network. 

Whether this is just a temporary phase of hype or a game-changing development remains to be seen. However, if this newfound programmability is here to stay, we can anticipate a ton of value pouring in over the next couple of years.

As a result, Bitcoin's dominance is now sky-high, and its price movements will likely dictate the rest of the market for the foreseeable future. Right now, we're witnessing a correction across the board - but should we be surprised? No, as I've said before, this is just typical bull run behavior.

So, what about $Hive? It's currently testing support at $0.40, and I've been diligently DCA-ing. With half my trade capital intact after re-entering the market at $0.45, I now realize I should've waited a bit longer. New lesson learned: you can't catch every swing.


As we navigate this wild side of finance, we have to maintain the ability to be adaptable and continuously learn from our experiences. While the market's frenzy moves can be dizzying, we should not lose sight of the potential for transformational change, both for ourselves and the broader financial ecosystem.

 Embrace the chaos, my friends, and let's ride these waves together towards a future brimming with possibilities. May should be a fun month, Bitcoin nuked from $60k to about $35k in few days in May 2020 or was it 2021 if my memory serves me right. Let’s see what this one holds for us.
