# What will happen in the coming months (in my opinion)

Money will continue to flow on DeepOnion coins, especially by increasingly wealthy and skilled investors, entry into the market by investment companies could begin soon.

In a situation of blocking the maximum limit of possible transactions a day, the fees to make a transaction on bitcoins will rise (again) out of proportion, and this could shift investors on altcoins. Deeponion, being young and with a lot of potential for growth, could attract investors looking for a big long term gain.

Bitcoin will lose more and more its monetary function of exchange of value to become "digital gold" but above all collateral for investment funds and derivative products.
Altcoins will gain value as digital cash.

In practice, the price of bitcoin will rise again and again but at the same time the monetary function for the exchange of value will move on competitor blockchains (mainly litecoin, ethereum, bitshares and Deeponion I believe). Since the monetary function for the exchange of value is by far the most important for the mass adoption of a cryptocurrency, the relative prices of the competing blockchains will rise much more than bitcoin to the point where bitcoin will no longer be the blockchain with greater market capitalization.

Bitcoin can return to explosive price increases only when a scaling solution is found and implemented that reports transaction fees and bitcoin usability as currency for value exchange.
