We visited this city a month before Wuhan was hit by the Covid-19 outbreak. We traveled for 7 hours from Wuhan to Shanghai-Zhouzhuang at that time by train and bus. Really Zhouzhuang is very beautiful and enchanting. We toured this city by boat, the river water is green, the people are friendly. The boat we boarded was deliberately driven slowly so that we could enjoy the atmosphere as beautiful and comfortable as possible. At first glance this place reminds me of a water town in Italy (I've never been there). We enjoy the cool quality air, the locals are doing their activities as usual, sometimes some small children wave their hands at us. We saw bridges, canals and floating houses, very exotic, beautifully arranged and neat. The captain of the ship who commanded us said that this city used to be a stop on the Silk Road during the Yuan dynasty. At that time, small ships carried silk, ceramics and various other artistic materials.
