What goes up must come down, eventually. This was a building demolition in downtown Calgary, it was cleared to make way for the gigantic Brookfield Place, which is one of the tallest buildings in western Canada. Watching this building come down was fascinating, seeing what's inside, and also was sad in a way, as more architecture from my youth is gone to make way for glass towers. I think black and white is a great medium for these images, it really works so well with all the textures, lines, and little internal details of the building being demolished.
