Recently, I haven't been commenting on poetry as much as I had in the past. I've been really busy at work, so I haven't had a lot of time to read. When I comment on poetry, I like to read and come to an understanding about the poem. That often means that I have to reread it several times and pay close attention to the nuances. So that's hard to do when there's a lot going on around me. However, as I have just moved some stuff off of my plate, I don't foresee that being a problem moving forward. **A little bit on how I curate poetry on Steemit.com:** I typically will seek out poems by filtering on #poetry then sorting by "new". I do this because this exposes me to a lot of new artists. I sift through the list starting from the top and read until I see a poem that makes sense to me. If I don't understand it, or if it doesn't create a reaction in me, I don't usually comment on it. Also, I should mention that when I comment, I upvote. After I get a few done, I will check out the #onehumanbasket posts and do the same thing. That is the community that has mostly supported me, so I seek them out to support them. I try to keep my voting power above 80% This means that I can only upvote about 10-11 times per day. Honestly, when I comment on every upvote, I may not even get that. Every now and then, I will upvote without commenting. I usually do this when my voting power is high and I don't want to waste that time when it could be generating. If I don't comment on your poetry posts, it probably means that you don't post around the time that I'm browsing steemit. If you want me to vote, just leave a comment on one of my posts asking me to read it (while you're there, let me know what you thought of mine.) Anyway...that's about it for now. I am going to start offering a poetry editing service for those who may use translators to produce their English poems. I think it is a needed service on here steemit.com. I think the price of .10 SBD is also reasonable, but I'll get into that on another post. Steem On!
