Science experiments : How to determining salt, base and acid with litmus paper
The students at school were excited when making experiments differentiating acid, base and salt solutions. they are very easy to learn. after they read about the new acid and salt theory they are experimenting. I myself as a teacher also very pleased to see their creativity in experimenting.

This experiment knowing to test acid-base solution using litmus paper indicator.

### This experiment used a simple and easy inggridients we got :

1. Salt solution
2. Detergen solution
3. Soap solution
4. Orange juice solution
5. Glass
6. Water
7. Likmus paper

### The procedures :
1. With the group, cut each red and blue lit paper up about 1 cm.
2. Fill the salt solution, the detergent solution, the orange juice solution and the soap solution into the glass.
3. Then enter the solutions to be tested into the drop plate, then insert a little red or blue litmus paper into the solutions, observe and record in the observation table.
4. Then insert the litmus paper into the glass containing the solutions to be tested, then observe and record in the observation table.

Based on the results of experiments conducted in the can some conclusions, among others:
- The acidic solution can break the blue litmus paper;
- The base solution may brighten red litmus paper;
- While neutral solutions do not give any color change to the [litmus paper](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Litmus).
Soap solution-----------------> base
Detergent solution----------> base
Salt solution-------------------> netral
Orange juice solution-----> acid
