# Hello Hive 


Sometimes we search for the easiest way to onboard a new hive member and get stuck with some numerous options available yet not accessible. 

It will be of so much importance to stay updated at all times as new options pop and if the existing option are still working well. 

As at last month statistic has it that hive now has about 2.3million account, though am not sure if all these accounts are active as  some person have more than one hive account for different purpose.

Searching for hive sign up online, these are the list of available options you will be getting. 
And most of them have some guidelines surrounding them. 


Some of the free sign up options  

* Hiveonboard option is no longer available, though it has been the easiest one for me and just in three steps an account is ready. 
It only requires your sim verification

* Ecency

The next free account creation method is ecency where you need just  an email verification

* Threespeak 

It is another account creation option but now it had a must requirements  that you make a video in order to complete account creation these measures have been put in place just to curb abuse

These are the free account creation options available 
Others require that you pay some tokens to create a new hive account. 

# Blocktrade. 

This is much easier for an account holder who posses some resource credit to pay in HBD or an equivalent of $3 to create a new account for another.

A new dApp that just joined hive and can also be used to create account after paying a token.
