# Hello Hive  Do you know how happy we often feel whenever we create something unique and beautiful. Creativity is one of the things that continually gets butterflies in my tummy. At some point when i am working, I may not be doing the right things, other times I make numerous mistakes that makes me feel so bad while in yet some other cases the mistakes made while cutting and sewing can get so bad that the outfit being constructed may not be able to be salvaged.  These are the kind of challenges designers face and sometimes before we can come up with a really creative project alot of brainstorming and creative thinking happens first then practical trail and and error follows before we finally chose the best option from the lists of things/options or ideas we must have created.  Some folks are lucky to by pass all these processes and almost every idea that pops in their head is great while a few of us go through the trial and error method before concluding on the best option. This is the exact same thing that happened to me while making/creatively designing this dress. Its a special dress that I didn't intend to sew just anyhow. The process was like turning a trash into something glorious, beautiful and amazing. A cheap fabric that was designed and magnified to give it some elegance. Having gotten the fabric, I followed a basic design methods to cut and sew the dress Starting with cutting the front and back bodice.  Then a gathers for the lower bodice.   Cutting lining for each of these parts and then stitching them all up. The dress was ready in it's simplest form but a touch of embellishment is what adds the extra finishing touches that we need needed to make an outfit elegant.  This is where I kept thinking of the best way to approach this. We can't always purchase ready made roses to add to our wears as embellishment 🌹 🌺 🌹 hence we have to think of how to create an embellishment of our own First we need some materials * Rhinestones * Tulle * Decorative/Design buttons and many other design accessories Having added some rhinestones stones here following the circular pattern of the African print fabric it still didn't give me the gracious touch I need  I got a tulle and started to create a handmade rose. After creating about 2 of them and placing them on the dress at various angles I wasn't satisfied. Then the next idea, I had cut pieces of the tulle and sewn it round the armhole of the dress here    And after I got some left over of the tulle I began to sew it very close to the hem of the dress here    And then I sewed a big bow to add to the waistline of the dress. I cut the fabric Added some paper stay     Sewed it together and picked it at the middle with a hand needle to form a big bow. This was then attached to the dress waistline. Everything was out together and the tulle embellishment, rhinestones and bow was the natural touch that gave the dress a perfect finishing. I love how the tulle lines the hem of the dress.   This is the cheapest and yet unique form of embellishment you can use for your outfits all hand made and self thought. What do you think of the outfit?
