Life update part 2: Afternoon stroll on the old airfield.
> *This is my first entry in this community for the #WednesdayWalk initiated by Sir @tattoodjay.*

It was a hot sunny day today and we couldn't think of anything what else to do around the house this afternoon. Suddenly, I remembered the day when my grandfather was still alive we use to visit the old airfield just around the corner near where we live. I told mom and grandma why not we go at the back for a little catch up and exercise. So, we geared up and prepared for a short walking on the old airfield.

We were on our way and stumble upon this ray of sunlight left moments before it turns to night. It was 5 o'clock in the afternoon when we started going to the place. The atmosphere was a bit warm and fresh air was blowing through our skin it was a good feeling since we where just home doing nothing.

Along the way I found this very distinguish animal, this is called Karabaw (Carabao) in our language a type of water buffalo commonly be found in the mountain area of the Philippines and other countries might call these calm animals Taxon. They naturally provides support for our farmers in the farm Karabaw's sometimes help us by providing aid like transporting produce of farmers where cars can't pass by in the mountain regions. According to the internet and many physical books about this animal they are likely to produce milk, meat, and draft. What's special about them is that is not only a very reliable animal in the farm but they are the our country's national animal which resembles our culture and economy.

My Lola (grandmother) said this place was once a massive private airport for all kinds especially the locals of Bacolod.

> *According to Pacific Wrecks.com, this airfield was built prewar as a private airport by Iloilo Negros Air Express Company (INAEC). Addition to that from further information interesting about this place that it also serve as the center of operations of the late Japanese Army Airforce Federation (JAAF) during World War Two.*

Not mush of the said wreckage can be found today but the history itself remains known for every one who had survive the great war. As being said this has hold many memories thats why we chose to stroll around here. My mother and grandmother remember lolo (grandfather) we talk about a lot in the pass we enjoyed walking around and we also visited the nearby seaside and had snacks. Remember the two cats in my previous blog? We met them again there and we had fun playing with them. We stayed there for a few moments before we wrap things up and go home.
